Pendolino History
The Pendolino is a group of the Alstom company’s high-speed trains with maximum speeds from 200-270 km/h. The vast majority of these trains are equipped with tilting mechanisms for optimalising rides at high speeds on existing tracks. This is the most modern solution for ensuring fast and comfortable travel based on long-term experience and constant development.
Pendolino trains with tilting wagon bodies are equipped with Alstom’s Tiltronix technology. Similar Alstom Pendolino trains with tilting wagon bodies are riding in Italy, Switzerland, France, Great Britain, Finland, Slovenia, Spain, Portugal and Germany.
