Who Took the Pendolino on 9 April 2007?
On 5-9 April 2007 the international festival of film, television and video – Febiofest 2007 – took place in Pardubice. ČD is a partner of this cultural event, during which the Czech film Closely Watched Trains was screened at Pardubice Main Station.
On Monday, 9 April 2007, the leading personalities of Febiofest (including Václav Neckář) travelled to Pardubice for a non-traditional festive ending of the Pardubice portion of Febiofest using the SC Pendolino connection. The organisers of the festival together with ČD prepared a screening of the Oscar-winning film Closely Watched Trains in a stylish setting – Pardubice’s Main Railway Station.
Everyone who purchased a valid ticket and reservation for this connection had an opportunity to meet famous singer and actor Václav Neckář, who played the lead role in this film – and right on board the train.
