James Bond on Pendolino train

Almost the whole Saturday on 22 April 2006 recording of a part of the Casino Royal, a new Bond series took place at the Prague main railway station. This time, besides famous actors, Czech Railways´ high-speed Pendolino train was starring too. Thanks to the new Bond series the high-speed train and the Prague main railway station will thus metaphorically run exactly around the globe.Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM), a Hollywood studio, chose SC Pendolino train to interpret scenes connected with a journey of one of many James Bond´s attractive partners to Italian Trieste. For the recording purposes the Prague main railway station moved into atmosphere of Italy for one day. Even information boards on platform 2 were changed by having got Italian signs; e.g. TRIESTE appeared on the information boards. The recording took place in full operation of the Prague main railway station.
