Comfortable Trains
For your comfortable travel, we have put modern units of the 680 Pendolino series into service on SuperCity trains. The main advantage of these units is their tilt technology, which enables a high amount of riding comfort while travelling through curves 20 to 30 % faster than classical trains.
The sections are constructed to be large and spacious, in which seats are arranged either facing in the same direction or facing each other. If you are using seats facing in the same direction, then you will always have available a folding tray from the back side of the armrests of the seat in front of you. In the event of using seats facing each other, you have a folding table available which is located between the seats. For clear identification of car classes, seats in first class are coloured red and seats in second class are in blue. Of course the seats recline. Electric windowshades for blocking direct sunlight and buttons for calling on-board personnel are available. All cars on the train are fully air-conditioned. SuperCity trains are completely non-smoking.
When travelling in 1st class you can use 230V power plugs for connecting your notebook computer and audio systems for listening to music.
