Our goal is to provide comfortable travel for anyone with decreased mobility, to simplify the process of boarding, and to provide assistance and services in such a way as to make travel attractive for passengers in wheelchairs. SuperCity trains, which operate on units of the 680 Pendolino series, have a 2nd class carriage available that has been adapted for the transport of two passengers in wheelchairs (carriage number 4). This carriage is in the middle of the train.
Mobile lift platforms are used for boarding the train at all stations where SuperCity trains stop. We recommend that passengers in wheelchairs who plan to use SuperCity trains inform their departure and destination stations in advance. This way a mobile lift platform can be always be secured in time for entrance and exit with the assistance of Czech Railways employees.
