Thanks to Hertz car rental services, you can quickly and easily continue on to shopping or business negotiations from selected stations without having to wait for a bus or tram. For ČD passengers, there is a special price list with discounts for ČD In-karta cardholders.
How to rent a car
You can order a car by telephone on +420 225 345 000 or online - order here. A wide range of vehicles are on offer including delivery vans. If you order a vehicle at least three hours in advance, you will always have a guaranteed selection of the vehicle group with handover at an agreed time.
At the station, all you have to do is get from the train to the designated “meeting point” for Hertz car rentals, where a driver will meet you with keys for the selected vehicle. There are “meeting points” at the stations Praha hl.n., Olomouc hl.n., Ostrava hl.n. and Ostrava-Svinov.
If you decide to rent a vehicle while already on a train or at the station, you will find a Hertz communicator at each “meeting point”, which you can use to contact an operator and order a vehicle. In such cases, however, it will depend on the current situation whether it is possible to secure the requested vehicle.
Discounted prices for ČD passengers
For ČD passengers, there are special rental rates. Moreover, In-karta cardholders automatically receive an additional discount of 7% off the rental fee.
